Understanding mental health needs in the Asian American community
NAMI Eastside hosts monthly educational forums in partnership with EvergreenHealth that cover a variety of mental health topics. To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, May’s forum on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 PM will feature Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS).
ACRS is an outstanding local organization that promotes social justice and the well-being and empowerment of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other underserved communities by developing, providing, and advocating for innovative, effective, and efficient community-based multilingual and multicultural services. At the forum, they will share information about their services and talk about the biggest needs and developments in mental health in the Asian American community.
